The Church of the Redeemer also sponsors the Redeemer Child
Care Center, a Christ-centered program, which has been well-known throughout
Bowie for over 25 years.
RCCC is a non-profit organization which meets the standards established by the
State of Maryland for the licensing of child care centers. We are a Christian
Child Care Center which firmly believes in Christian ideals. The Christian
emphasis is intertwined within our regular curriculum. We believe being a
Christian is a way of life. We understand the importance of being a proper role
model for children.
The staff at Redeemer Child Care Center is dedicated to the premise that all
children have been created unique and that God has a purpose for their life. We
strive to provide a warm and safe atmosphere that will foster emotional, social,
academic and spiritual growth. We want our children to experience the joy of
learning in a controlled, planned program designed to meet their own needs. We
believe that children are a gift from the Lord and that they are our visions of
the future. We must cherish them as God does.
Our program includes: -
Music - songs about the Bible, Jesus, Bible characters, and being a Christian
- Grace before meals

Bible stories with Miss Delores
as well as
many areas of learning that are "on-going" including:

Math concepts
- reading readiness
- language development
- art projects
Field trips are
also used to reinforce various learning concepts.
All personnel at RCCC meet the requirements established by the State of Maryland
for working with children in child care centers. In addition, all staff
applicants meet with the Director, the Pastor and must be committed
Christians before being hired by the RCCC Board of Directors.
Our hours of operation are 7:00am until 6:00pm. We offer full-time and part-time
classes for three/four year olds, and before/after School
care. We also offer a summer time childcare
